To involved for non tech people

Cannot add a member (Church members in this case) and create a code for them without them having to download the app and verifying their email while standing next to the box etc.
You would think it would be easy enough to create a product that you type Joe Smith, code 12345678 and your good to go. Why do they need another app and email verification? They don’t have or need to do anything besides open the box.

We would like to offer a few options that do not require the use of our Linkstyle App. Firstly, you can create passcodes under your member account and save them with the person's name for easy identification in the history log. Additionally, you can use the included IC cards or set up fingerprints for guest users. You can also create temporary codes directly on the Matrix II dashboard without the app or wifi/Bluetooth connection. Our support team has also reached out to you via email and other reviews. Unhappy
No wifi connection

Lock box only works when close by and Bluetooth. Linkstyle gateway does not work. Can't send or add family members just tells us connection not made! Not worth the money!

Loved it until…

Worked beautifully for a year until we changed the batteries. Now it only works with fingerprint and remotely from app but not with any of the codes. Sent an support ticket and will update depending on their answer.

No notifications

Have notifications on in app and phone. Never get a notification that it's been unlocked until I go to the property and unlock it myself.

Do i need to have access the the lock box to program the smart card? and can the smart card be programed for time limited use?

Yes, access card needs to be paired directly in contact with the physical product during the pairing process.

Can I get an alert when someone opens the box?

If you connect the Lock Box to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network via a Bluetooth hub, you can program customs automations in the Linkstyle app to notify you when someone opens the box.

Can I connect this lock to my current wifi signal for access to unlock and provide or remove codes?

You can connect the Lock Box to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network via a Bluetooth hub and you can control your lock box from anywhere with internet access.

How long do the batteries last on average before needing replacement?

4 fresh AAA alkaline batteries would last about 7000 regular unlocks, which is usually 10 to 12 months in normal usage.

If I need to grant temporary access to someone with a One-Time passcode, do they need the app on their phone to open it?

No, when you use a One-Time or temporary passcode, the person with the code only needs to enter the code on the keypad and will not need to use the Linkstyle app.

What is the micro-USB charging port for if this is powered by batteries?

The power port is for emergency use. If the device runs out of battery, the default state to locked so you would not be able to open it up to change batteries. In this situation, you can use a power bank to power it temporarily via the micro-USB power port so you can open the lock and change batteries.

I forgot my password, can I change it to a new one?

Yes, you can use the Linkstyle app to change the passcode.

Can control of app / device lock be done on multiple phones or is it restricted only to one ?

You can share this lock box with other Linkstyle app users with their own accounts.

Can i set multiple codes or does the lock only allow for one code?

Yes, you can set up multiple codes in the Linkstyle app.
